Abstract: A proposal to open a Montessori-based education program in Joplin, Missouri. The Montessori Kindergarten Center-Joplin is a synthesized product between the Montessori Method and Howard Gardner s theory of Multiple Intelligences. The MKC-J is based upon the Grade Level Expectations (GLEs) for the public schools in the state of Missouri. Includes sample case studies and documentation to illustrate potential curriculum.--p. 11
